Looking Back…and Moving Forward (EP026)

January 06, 2017

Happy New Year and welcome back to the first episode of The Future STIR for 2017!

In Episode 026, Greg & Ben take a look back at several of the themes discussed during the second half of 2016 and share some thoughts about how they will continue to play out in 2017.

For his buzz-worthy topic, Ben talks about a creepy Japanese AI assistant that comes in the form of a flirtatious, holographic woman who will tell you the weather…and send you flirtatious messages during the day. What this product says about relationships and the current state of Japanese culture is up to you to decide. 😉

Greg checks in with early feedback from his wife about her new Apple Watch Nike+ Edition and his oldest son’s Pebble Time. Wearables are hitting the mainstream and the early reports are interesting, for sure.

Thanks, as always, for listening to The Future STIR! We’ve got a lot of great content planned for 2017, and we’re grateful to have you along for the journey…
